British Archaeologists Uncover Ancient Urban Centre in Egypt

(ICWWM History) — A joint mission between British and Egyptian researchers has confirmed the discovery of the ancient city of Imet. Located in the eastern Nile Delta, the site features remarkably preserved multi-storey buildings and a temple dedicated to the goddess Wadjet. Historians suggest this find could rewrite our understanding of urban planning in Ancient Egypt.
